Working principle of PE E-type crusher
The key moving components of the PE jaw crusher are: motor, pulley, eccentric shaft, moving jaw, fixed jaw, and elbow plate. The power transmission and action execution are carried out in the following order:
Power start: The motor is powered on and runs, transmitting power to the pulley through a V-belt.
Eccentric drive: The pulley drives the main shaft to rotate, and the eccentric design of the eccentric shaft is the core. Its axis is offset from the center of rotation, and periodic centrifugal force is generated during rotation.
Dynamic swing: The centrifugal force of the eccentric shaft drives the dynamic swing to perform reciprocating composite swing.
Crushing and discharging:
When the moving jaw approaches the fixed jaw, the material between the two jaw plates is squeezed, split, or bent until it reaches the crushing strength and fractures;
When the moving jaw moves away from the fixed jaw, the gap between the two jaw plates increases, and the material that has been crushed to a size smaller than the "discharge port size" is discharged from the discharge port at the lower part of the equipment under the action of gravity;
Continuous reciprocating motion of the moving blade achieves a continuous cycle of "feeding → crushing → discharging" to complete batch crushing operations.

Equipment Structure of PE Jaw Crusher
The jaw crusher is mainly composed of the frame, eccentric shaft, large pulley, flywheel, moving jaw, side guard plate, toggle plate, toggle plate rear seat, gap adjusting screw, reset spring, fixed jaw plate, movable jaw plate, motor, etc.
Among them, the toggle plate is a precisely calculated welded part. It is not only a transmission component but also a safety part of the crusher. When materials that cannot be crushed fall into the crusher and cause the machine to exceed the normal load, the toggle plate will break immediately, and the crusher will stop operating, thus avoiding damage to the entire machine.

2. Check if the bolts are loose and tighten them in a timely manner;
3. The gap between the E-plate and the lining plate needs to be noted. If the wear is severe and the gap becomes larger, the crushing effect will be compromised;
4. Attention should also be paid to the tension of the belt. If it is too loose, it is easy to slip, and if it is too tight, it will accelerate aging;
Please note that before each startup, it is necessary to manually rotate the key components to ensure that there is no jamming. If there is no problem, it can be avoided from being damaged by impact during startup.
Vulnerable parts:
Ebon is the core, and its lifespan is closely related to the crushed material. If granite, a hard rock, is crushed, ordinary high-strength steel Ebon strips can last for 2-3 months. If high-quality alloy materials are chosen, the lifespan can be extended by 3-4 months. But if it is broken soft rock or weathered material, the lifespan of E-board is longer, usually 4-6 months. If the working conditions are stable, the usage time is also longer. However, the uniformity of feeding can also affect the service life of the jaw plate. If the feeding is too much or too little, the jaw plate may not be evenly distributed, which can easily lead to rapid local wear and shorten the service life.
When replacing vulnerable parts, there are also techniques. When choosing an E-plate, priority should be given to high-strength steel materials, which have high cost-effectiveness and can be used in most conventional crushing scenarios. But if the hard rock is broken for a long time and has strong corrosiveness, it is necessary to choose a higher alloy material for the E-plate, which can reduce the frequency of replacement and be more cost-effective in the long run.
There are also some non critical components, such as connectors with low stress, which can be made of cast steel material. However, it is important to ensure that the dimensions match the original ones and align them during installation. Otherwise, problems may arise shortly after installation, which may delay production.
