Working principle
The Spiral Sand Washer is usually placed in an inclined state during installation. When the equipment is started, the motor drives the transmission device to operate, causing the screw to start rotating. The sand and gravel materials enter the cleaning tank from the feeding tank, and under the drive of the spiral, the sand and gravel continuously reverse, collide and grind with each other in the cleaning tank. During this process, impurities on the surface of the sand and gravel are removed, and the water vapor layer covering the sand particles is also destroyed, which is beneficial for subsequent dehydration operations.
Due to the rotation of the spiral and the gravity of the material itself, sand and gravel move from high to low in the cleaning tank. Throughout the entire process, clean sand and gravel enter the hopper from the rotating spiral blades, completing the cleaning operation. The sewage containing soil and impurities generated during the cleaning process is discharged through the overflow outlet and enters the subsequent sewage treatment system.
