A sand making machine is equipment used for sand aggregate production. The crushing chamber of a sand making machine plays a crucial role, and we should not underestimate its design, as it is of great significance for the subsequent processing of the machine. Here, I will briefly discuss the design of the sand making machine's crushing chamber.
The crushing chamber of the sand making machine is composed of a feed guide, a secondary reaction plate, an unloading point of the guide plate, and an outlet arc of the second reaction plate. Structural parameters include the dimensions of the inlet and outlet, the feed guide angle, the angle of the guide unloading point, etc. The width of the feed port is 0.7 times the diameter of the rotor, and the size of the discharge port is 0.1 times the diameter of the rotor.
The tilt angle is an important parameter, usually 45 - 60 degrees. The greater the tilt angle of the guide plate, the faster the material slides along it, increasing the efficiency of the sand making machine. Conversely, a smaller tilt angle may cause the material to slide more slowly, and in some cases, it may accumulate, reducing the machine's operational efficiency. Therefore, a relatively smaller tilt angle of the guide plate is often preferred. A good rule of thumb is that the crusher performs optimally when the material, after sliding along the guide plate, makes proper contact with the hammers.
