The following are the differences between the C-series jaw crushers and the PE-series jaw crushers:
The C-series typically adopts an innovative modular, weld-free structural frame. For example, Yonghua Machinery's C-series features a lightweight and compact design, saving space, facilitating transportation and installation, and enhancing the equipment's fatigue resistance and operational reliability.
In contrast, the PE-series mostly uses a welded frame structure, which is relatively simple, highly robust, and reliable, but may be slightly less convenient in terms of transportation and installation.
The C-series integrates sophisticated crushing technology and production processes. Its crushing strength and low-suspension motion mechanism design provide a larger crushing ratio. Some C-series products feature a deep V-shaped crushing chamber, which can meet larger feeding requirements and thereby improve crushing efficiency.
The PE-series is a classic primary crushing equipment with mature technology and wide applications, capable of handling materials of various hardness levels. However, it may not perform as prominently as the C-series in terms of crushing ratio and feeding capacity.

The C-series employs oversized bearings and forged main shafts, which can withstand heavier loads. For example, the CJ-series European-style jaw crushers feature oversized bearing designs, giving the entire machine greater load-bearing capacity. Some C-series products are also equipped with high-strength steel plate toggle plates, which are lightweight and easy to replace. These toggle plates bend under overload, avoiding the risk of traditional cast iron toggle plates breaking and falling, which could damage conveyor belts.
The PE-series has relatively traditional component configurations, primarily designed to meet basic crushing requirements.
Due to its excellent performance, the C-series is particularly suitable for fixed crushing production lines and mobile crushing stations. It can efficiently crush hard and corrosive materials, making it ideal for large-scale mining operations, construction aggregate production, and other scenarios with high requirements for equipment performance and reliability.
The PE-series, on the other hand, is widely used in primary crushing operations in various mines, quarries, construction projects, etc., especially in smaller-scale projects that are sensitive to equipment costs.
