How To Choose A Mobile Crusher For Handling Construction Waste

When selecting a mobile crusher for handling construction waste, the following factors need to be comprehensively considered:

1

Material characteristics:

If the construction waste contains concrete blocks with high hardness (e.g., above C50), a combination of jaw crusher and cone crusher is preferred. For medium-to-low hardness materials, a heavy hammer crusher or impact crusher can be selected.

If the concrete blocks contain a large amount of steel reinforcement, choose a model with steel separation functions, such as crushers equipped with iron removal devices or anti-winding crushing chambers.

2

Production requirements:

For small-scale projects with a production capacity of 10-50 tons per hour, a tire-mounted single-unit machine can be selected, such as a mobile heavy hammer crusher.

For large-scale projects with a production capacity of over 100 tons per hour, multiple units can be combined for joint operations, such as a combination of primary crushing + secondary crushing + screening.

3

Site conditions:

On flat roads requiring frequent long-distance relocation, tire-mounted mobile crushers are more suitable due to their fast transfer speed, making them ideal for highway transportation and relatively flat sites.

In complex terrains such as mountains, hills, swamps, or for fixed-site operations, crawler-mounted mobile crushers offer greater advantages. They have strong cross-country capabilities, can climb slopes, and do not require foundation fixing, making them suitable for remote or harsh environments.

4

Environmental requirements:

In city centers or environmentally sensitive areas, prioritize models with dust removal and noise reduction devices to reduce dust and noise pollution and comply with environmental requirements.

5

Budget and costs:

In terms of initial investment: crawler-mounted > tire-mounted > stationary; mobile heavy hammer crusher < combination of jaw crusher + cone crusher. - For long-term costs, factors such as equipment wear (e.g., replacement frequency of hammer heads and liners) and fuel consumption should be considered. Crawler-mounted models typically have higher fuel consumption.

6

Equipment configuration:

Choose a mobile crusher that integrates feeding, crushing, screening, and conveying to reduce the cost and time of additionally building a production line. In addition, equipment with an intelligent control system can be selected as needed to enable real-time monitoring of operating status, featuring simple operation and high safety.

7

Brand and after-sales service:

Prioritize manufacturers with reliable brands and comprehensive after-sales services to ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment and timely maintenance, replacement of parts, and other support in case of equipment failures.
